We are planning an interactive session at this year’s EBSA conference on Thursday June 4th between 17:30 and 18:15 where members can bring real‑world biorisk challenges to a panel of biosafety and biosecurity experts and get practical, experience‑based advice.

We would love EBSA colleagues to:

• Submit questions or challenges they are facing, and/or
• Volunteer to sit on the panel and share insights with peers

Your submission can be a specific question or simply a description of an issue or situation you’d like advice on. Challenges from any setting or sector are welcome.

Please complete the attached form to submit a question and/or register interest in joining the panel. Submissions will help shape a session that reflects the issues most relevant to our community. Questions can be anonymised if preferred.

This session is intended to be open, supportive, and collegial, and we encourage contributions from across the EBSA membership.

Note 1: Submissions will be handled sensitively. Identifiers and organisational details can be kept secret during the session if requested. If we haven’t time to address all questions during the session we will follow up with individuals so please include your contact details to facilitate this.

Note 2: This session does not replace the normal Q&A following presentations during the conference – please ask away as normal! This is for more specific dilemmas you may be handling – you are not alone! We will also share any interesting outcomes or questions raised during the preconference training sessions.
