New EBSA website

The last month we developed a new EBSA website, with the following new features and objectives:

  • Make the EBSA information more visible for members
  • Create an interactive platform where members can post information for others and like, reply and follow-up discussions
  • You will have access to your profile and updates will be affective immediately
  • You will have an overview of the future conferences and courses you are registered for
  • You have access to the overview you invoices as of 2021 membership fees.
  • An automated membership renewal
    • You receive a mail (later this week) if your membership is up for renewal to inform you
    • 5 days later you receive an email with your invoice and payment link
      Payment possibilities have been upgrade to Maestro, Credit Card, IDeal and PayPal are standard available.
      Apple Pay, Giropay, Przelewy24 and SOFORT Banking payment links can be sent by simple request

As passwords are always saved encrypted in the database for security reasons we had to make you a new temporary password so you can logon in the website.

You will be able to login with your email address as username and this temporary password ##startwachtwoord##.

We migrated all your personal data, however we would like you to check this information as some of it might be dated.

Step one - login

Click on the "login" navigation in the top right corner and fill out your email address as username and your password in the form that is presented.

Step 2

At the right of the main navigation an extra option "EBSA member section" will appear". Depending on your type of membership you will also see some personal "profiles" you can manage yourself.

If you only attended a course or the online webinar you will not be able to see the EBSA and the Member news. You will only have access to your profile, invoices (2021) and registered courses.

The most important options are

  1. At the top "Member news" where you can start to share information or start a discussion or interact with other members.
  2. At the bottom the "Log out" option so you can safely logout when you are not working on your personal device and nobody can get into your account.
  3. Your personal profile forms, invoices overview and your attended event/course overview.

Your info is not correct or missing in this list ?

Check out our calendar for events and courses. Apart from the EBSA exclusive calendars you will also find calendars open for ALL events and courses related to biosafety and biosecurity.

If you know of a biosafety/biosecurity event you want mentioned in the calendar, you can use the submit buttons at the bottom of each calendar page to submit your event or course information.

After review we will add it into our calendars and inform you.

But most of all we want to grow our EBSA community and that means that all of you should get involved!
