Arriving by plane

Arriving to Estoril

From Lisbon airport, it is just a 30 minutes drive, by car or taxi through the motorway (A5). An one-way taxi journey from the airport to Estoril costs approx. 45 €.

By train

from Lisbon city centre to Estoril. The trains depart from Lisbon's Cais do Sodre station every twenty minutes to Cascais and Estoril. This takes about 30 minutes and it costs 1.70 €. The train ride is very beautiful, as you first go along the river and then (after Algés), along the sea. Some stations (like Monte do Estoril) are right on thecliff and you can hear the waves crash against the rocks
