What are the competencies/skills of a BSP?

Pre-requisites:

• A life science degree or equivalent
• Qualification in general H&S (diploma/certificate?)
• Actively maintains current risk knowledge through CPD events on biological topics
• At least two years experience in research or development laboratory environment
• Not the principle investigator on the projects under control
• Interpersonal skills: communication skills, influencing, leadership
• Management skills
