Sponsored membership

EBSA has declared in its mission statement to encourage good practices in biosafety and biosecurity throughout Europe and has therefore introduced a sponsored membership programme. This sponsorship enables individuals from a country in Europe with a low membership coverage of EBSA, to participate in EBSA activities at low costs.

EBSA will sponsor the participation of an individual with a documented interest in biosafety and biosecurity to participate in a pre-conference course and in the annual conference.

The sponsoring covers the individual EBSA membership for one calendar year, one course ticket and one conference ticket including dinner. Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to a maximum that will be determined by the council for 2013. Accommodation and daily expenses will be reimbursed to a maximum in accordance with the WHO stipendium rates.

All applications will be taken into account and the EBSA Council will decide on admission to participation.

You can now apply for sponsoring to participate in the 16th EBSA conference in Basel, Switzerland in June 2013. If you are interested, please complete the application form and send it to EBSA Administration Office in Frankfurt.

The deadline for applications to be received by the EBSA Administration Office is 16 April 2013.
