Based in France.
Reports to the Virology Lab Director and manages 25 collaborators.

Required profile : 

Education:

  • Biology Engineer / Doctor with Virology specialisation.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Virology Lab in industry :
    Human / Animal Pharmaceutical Industry, CMO, Diagnostic
  • Good experience in team management
  • Perfect command of cell culture & virology analysis technique
  • Good knowledge in cGMP and pharmaceutical regulations
  • French & English writing ability. Oral English practice is a plus.

Toxicologist

Based in France. Reports to the Global Head of Non-Clinical Safety.

Position’s stake:
Represent the Non Clinical Safety Department supporting the non clinical safety of products in development.

Position:

  • Represent NCS and act as the toxicologist team representative on project R&D team
  • Develop and deliver toxicological strategies and evaluations: define planned programs, manage toxicology studies (either working closely with a study monitor or working directly with Contract Organizations, as a study monitor)
  • Provide regulatory toxicology expertise and contribute to high level regulatory documents and/or reports.
  • Contribute to department initiatives, provide expert toxicological scientific input and maintain up to date knowledge
  • Has both strategic and operational facets and will include close interactions with numerous R&D partners in France, US and Canada providing an international dimension and global responsibility.

Required profile:

  • PhD in Biological Sciences: Toxicology, Biology, Immunology, Pharmacy, DVM.
  • Experience → A minimum of 5 years in the field of toxicology, having worked as a study director and project representative, within either the pharmaceutical industry or CRO: 
    • Good knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice and regulatory requirements
    • Good scientific and toxicology knowledge
    • Project management experience in multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French would be useful.
