The 13th EBSA Conference took place 21-23 June in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 218 delegates from 34 countries attended despite the fact that the conference had been postponed due to volcano ash.

Seven pre-conference workshops were highly appreciated by 118 participants. Conference presentations on GMMs, ´green´ and sustainable laboratories and new approaches to regulatory frameworks on the national level were of particular interest. Apparently participants enjoyed networking and the social programme in the lovely city of Ljubljana.
